Eye on Washington's President Janet Kopenhaver has already developed and met with important and high-level contacts in the White House, including Senior Domestic Policy Advisor Jocelyn Frye, White House Council on Women and Girls Executive Director Tina Tchen and Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Director John Berry. These relationships led to her being invited to attend and participate in the White House Middle Class Task Force event on Work/Life Balance issues; First Lady Michelle Obamaís Health Care Task Force Kick Off event; the White House Task Force on Financial Literacy; and the White House Holiday Party, to name a few.

Following the completion of a statistical project completed by Eye on Washington, the firm's client was asked to appear on Wolf Blitzer's "The Situation Room" on CNN which is seen by millions of viewers across the globe. The company's president Janet Kopenhaver has also been featured and quoted in numerous media outlets including the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal and the Federal Times, to name a few.

Eye on Washington prepared and researched an interactive map of federal employment statistics by agency and congressional district. Previously this data was only available by county. Our staff converted this data into congressional district and delivered these statistics to each lawmaker's office where many accolades and expressions of appreciation were given by Hill staffers. This data was also converted into a map where any state's data can be instantaneously available. To view the map, click here.

As the Washington Representative for an organization, Eye on Washington's president manages and spearheads the group's grassroots program. In less than one year, over 3500 lawmakers were sent letters from 41 states from the organization's grassroots website. Many led to legislators signing on as co-sponsors to important bills being considered in Congress.

For a chemical client, Eye on Washington researches and drafts, though its clipping service, a monthly Update on developments in the legislative and regulatory arenas that affect the industry. In a recent survey completed by the association, 80% of respondents ranked Eye on Washington's Press Clipping and Analysis Service as one of the key benefits of membership in the organization.

For a professional organization client, Eye on Washington wrote and researched a Voter Registration Guide for the organization's chapters to use to conduct local voter registration drives. View the guide.

As a result of Eye on Washington's contacts and relationship-building on Capitol Hill, a client's president was asked on three occasions to testify before the House Subcommittee on Civil Service on Diversity in the Senior Executive Service.

Eye on Washington researched, drafted and edited a series of Reference Guides on complex federal regulations. This necessitated an ability to translate technical government compliance documents into easy-to-understand "How To" guides for small companies not familiar with these rules. These manuals continue to sell for a profit years after publication.

Eye on Washington staff drafts, prints and hand-delivers to every legislatorís office on Capitol Hill the organizationís Legislative Agenda at the start of every congressional session.
