June 2017 — Eye on Washington teamed up with the International Council of Shopping Centers (https://www.icsc.org/) for their annual Lobby Day during which they asked legislators to co-sponsor S. 976/H.R. 2193 and H.R. 620. Janet Kopenhaver set up all the Capitol Hill meetings and drafted individualized schedules for the over 200 attendees. In total, 227 offices were visited (72 in the Senate and 155 in the House), representing 37 states and following the meetings, 2 Senators signed on as co-sponsors to S. 976, 14 Representatives agreed to co-sponsor H.R. 2193, and 26 Representatives added their names to H.R. 620. June 2017 — The International Association of Compound Pharmacists (https://iacp.site-ym.com/) hired Eye on Washington to assist them with their June 2017 �Compounders on Capitol Hill� Advocacy Day. For this event, we set up 155 meetings (63 in the Senate and 92 in the House) from 34 states for the over 110 attendees. As a result of these meetings, 15 Representatives with whom IACP members met added their names as co-sponsors to a bill they were discussing. October, 2014 — Recently, Eye on Washington set up over 280 Hill meetings for over 380 attendees - many of whom remarked that the schedules were "great" and "very informative." The Coalition of Catholic Charities, U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and CLINIC contracted with Eye on Washington for their National Migration Conference. The attendees were advocating for immigration reform and represented almost 40 states. Eye on Washington prepared and researched an interactive map of federal employment statistics by agency and congressional district. Previously this data was only available by county. Our staff converted this data into congressional district and delivered these statistics to each lawmaker's office where many accolades and expressions of appreciation were given by Hill staffers. Eye on Washington's president succeeded in organizing for her client organization's president to testify before the Social Security Subcommittee on an issue never before addressed by the panel despite over 10 years of intensive lobbying. As the Washington Representative for an organization, Eye on Washington's president manages and spearheads the group's grassroots program. In less than one year, over 3500 lawmakers were sent letters from 41 states from the organization's grassroots website. Many led to legislators signing on as co-sponsors to important bills being considered in Congress. For a chemical client, Eye on Washington researches and drafts, though its clipping service, a monthly Update on developments in the legislative and regulatory arenas that affect the industry. In a recent survey completed by the association, 80% of respondents ranked Eye on Washington's Press Clipping and Analysis Service as one of the key benefits of membership in the organization.
